January 2012

A new year and here we go again! A quick flurry of gigs over the next few weeks, check out the gig list. A big welcome to our new bass player Steve Merrett.

December 2011

Thanks to all those who braved the throngs on West St/Division St to see us at The Hop. An interesting venue and party atmosphere. May do it again if we are invited.

We finished the year off at John's local The Yew Tree where we rocked the house as usual. All the new songs seemed to work well. This is turning out to be a good venue for us.

See you in 2012

November 2011

The band have been rehearsing new material during our lay-off and hope to put some into the sets when we meet up with Robert for our next 2 gigs. Hope to see you there at The New Barrack or Rising Sun (see gig list)

August 2011

A fleeting visit by Robert this time but 2 good gigs at The Shiny Sheff and culminating in a great night at The Yew Tree in Coal Aston. Hope to see you all in November.

July 2011

Played a new venue for the band this month, The University Arms. Nice room but not a regulary haunt for music lovers, more a staff canteen for the University I fear.
The Rising Sun beer festival happend on what was one of the best evenings weather wise for a few weeks. There was a crowd of 400+ there when we arrived to set up and the evening got better as the crowd warmed to the music (and beer!). It was amazing to see and hear the crowd singing as one to Stand By Me as Robert coaxed them into chorus after chorus. A truly magical night and were it not for a noise curfew we could have carried on.

May 2011

A good night as always with Kev & Steph at The New Barrack Tavern although we were a little rusty after the lay-off. We were back up to speed by the Monday night at The Rising Sun where we gave landlord Robert a rousing good night ( it was his birthday and he was trying to sleep upstairs - some chance!).
The Final gig for the "Spring" Tour was The Yew Tree Coal Aston where John's local crowd turned up in great numbers.

We have also set up an emailing list, so if you would like to let us know your email address we can keep you updated with last minute changes, news etc.
