January  2010

Well into the New year after a little rest and a few rehearsals to put some new numbers together.  There a 4 in the melting pot at the moment which will certainly see the light of day by March.
We finally got back to the Castle Inn at Bradway after a year of trying. Nice little pub but could have done with a few more audience - BUT it is January!!

November 09

Good gig last night at The New Barracks if a little rusty after the layoff. Redders was in top form and managed to get the audience participating in some bizar hand waving which was fun to watch from our side.
Nice to end the year at The Rising Sun with its intmate atmosphere and listening audience. Played a few tunes we all enjoyed and settled in for the night.

Check out our 2010 dates on the gig page and we hope to see you at one of them

Sorry about the Niagra Club cancellation. It appears the credit crunch is also affecting charities.
We have also had to cancel The Yew Tree at Coal Aston in Dec due to a double-booking and have decided it is too chaotic there to consider playing ( who knows what other acts may turn up on the night?).  Tom has a big birthday this month so is having a rest to deal with the enormity of it all.
See you in November.

Played some of our favourite places this month starting at The Rising Sun. Being such an intimate venue we can try out new things and slower gentler material. We stepped in at the last minute to play at Kevs birthday at The New Barrack Tavern on the 18th and and it was a good night + Stephs Chillie of course. Finished off the following night at The Harlequin which was as mad as ever!

The current state of the licensing trade and credit crunch have meant a number of changes to the gig list. Check out the changes.
Incredible night again at The Harlequin. A nice and appreciative audience who seemed to understand everything we play and why we enjoy it.

We also finally managed to play an outdoor gig where the weather was kind to us. The garden party in the darkest regions of the Yorkshire East Riding on Sat 8th was well received and has added interest with some guest flying in by helicopter, how cool!!

Check our our video on You Tube. It features gigs from The Moon and Coal Aston Village Hall.

We have also set up an emailing list, so if you would like to let us know your email address we can keep you updated with last minute changes, news etc.
