Tom giving it his all

THE BAND
TOM
Some say Tom is our musical arranger as he uses his skills as a recording engineer to hone our songs and tease out every last note. His lead guitar work is a joy and his collection of guitars grows by the day. Tom other band Pluk has finnaly called it a day following the "retirement" of their renound singer Robert Glendenning. However I,m sure whenever Rob is back in the UK they will be having a re-union.
Tom's musical inspirations are :-

Robert

Robert , from agreeing to stand in, involving a quick flight back from Spain, has now agreed to become our permanent lead vocalist. He brings a different dimension to the band and many will know him from his days with Booga Cha Looga and The Empty Bed Blues Band.

Glyn

GLYN
Glyn  is not the new boy anymore having been with us for what seems like ages (as least long enough to have a few changes of bass and rig!!)  He has now settled on his optimum gear and what a nice sound he makes too.
Glyn's musical influences are :-

CHRIS
Chris comes with an excellent pedigree having played in bands since the 1970's. John and Chris teamed up in 1980 in a band called Music Machine (great name eh!) playing S Yorks clubs and Chris then went on to play with Booga Cha Looga for a number of years and currently also plays in a fine soul band Groove On.

 JOHN
As the bands rhythm guitarist, vocalist and organiser he has to provide the groove and if you're lucky you may get a sight of his "mini-me" which comes out on special occasions
A veteran (I use that word wisely!) of various bands around Sheffield, he sees The Call as the culmination of his musical career and he is enjoying it more than ever.
He also finds time to play with local folk band Scuppered.
John's favourite musicians are :-
John Martyn
Bruce Springsteen
Mary Chapin Carpenter
James Taylor
Nanci Griffith

Nils Lofgren
